We are offer following Extended Day courses for our campers.

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

This is an excellent course for  introduction to VR experience. It involves building VR projects, playing VR Games, and designing VR games and experiences. We will be teaching students how to build VR Labo Kits by Nintendo. Once the kits are built, students will be able to play VR games using Nintendo Switch.

The second week will be dedicated to designing and tweaking VR games using a design software called VR Plaza. With this programming tool you can create your very own VR games and experiences! Students are welcome to bring their Nintendo Switches to this course.

VR Students will showcase their creations in VR stations at the end of the camp in the ITECH-STEM Festival and Award Ceremony.

Students will be using Microbit kits to learn programming. This kit allow young programmers to transition from block programming such as Scratch to JavaScript. It also encourages students to work as a team and collaborate with each other.

In addition, we will be teaching how to program with EV3 Lego Mindstorm sets and Arduino circuits. Tetrix robotics sets will also be demonstrated in this course.

This course is taught by award-winning instructors who are First Tech Challenge World Championship Competitor
and First Robotics Competition Regional Finalists.
